Tube Closure Threatens Volfsball Opener
- Updated: April 22, 2016

London Transport are conducting essential engineering work this weekend, but what could be more essential than the opening weekend of Volfsball. The West Wirral Snakehips, Balham Choke Hazard, Crouch End Tigers, Rhein Ruhr Germinators and Muswell Hill Supermoons hope to be fielding teams, but the Northern Line is not running to Highgate.
Here are the alternative travel arrangements.
Go to Finsbury Park (Victoria Line/Piccadilly Line). Take the Seven Sisters/Wells Terrace exit. Then get the W7 bus to Crouch End (Takes about 10 mins), then get off at the Wolseley Road stop (this is the one after the Clock Tower stop in Crouch End where most people get off). Then walk up Wolseley Road and turn right onto Mottenotte Road. Walk down the road and turn left on the gravel track at the end of the road which leads you to the playing field. (Warning the field may be a little bit muddy). Please remember to bring a bag of flour to help mark the pitch.
Enter Mottenotte Road N10 for Google Maps. I am too thick to work out how to do it on here.
