1^st Third

A winless Snakehips faced the unbeaten Choke Hazard on this beautiful May Day. Thom Saunders hitting ones early to give the Hazard a lead, but last season’s equal top scorer Rob Marland hit a couple of singles late to see the first third end 3-2.

2nd Third

The Snakehips shifted into top gear in the second third, with their pleasing to the eye passing style. Marland and Utley scoring while shutting out the Choke Hazard. Marland hit a Volfsball to round the third off, and the Snakehips were leading 11-4.

3^rd Third

The high scoring second third seemed like a distant memory as neither team found any consistency with shooting. The third was scoreless and West Wirral Snakehips picked up their first win of the season while condemning the Choke Hazard to their first loss. The latter seemed to be missing the star of last week ‘the Blocktipus’ James Hunt.
