The Snakehips are a limber squad of exiles from the Wirral (AKA the Leisure Peninsula).

They had a stunning start to their 2015 season, winning their first four games, but geographical location hindered their title aspirations, as they were only able to attend two further games. In 2016 they emerged as one of the favourites to win the All Comer’s League, and for much of the season were in a three way race for the title with Balham Choke Hazard and the Muswell Hill Supermoons. However Rob Marland relocated to Switzerland and the Snake Hips had to settle for the Runners up spot.

Rob Marland went on to set up Der Goldene Volf, Northern Volfsball Cup, where the three Snakehips players captained the Hoylake Red Rocks (Marland), Bebington Flaming Fir Cones (Wareing) and West Kirby Marine Lakers (Utley).

Owned by Chris Hand, they sport Purple and Gold as their colours.
